The 2020 Audi A8 comes standard with the 3.0 TFSI Quattro Tiptronic powertrain. This powertrain features a 3.0L 6-cylinder turbocharged engine producing 335 horsepower and 369 lb-feet of torque. A 4.0 V8 is optional, boosting power to an impressive 453 horsepower, and dropping the car's 0-60 time down to a claimed 4.5 seconds. In addition, a new hybrid version is also available, which pairs the 6-cylinder engine with an electric motor for a total of 443 horsepower. All engines are paired with an 8-speed transmission while Quattro all-wheel drive makes for impressive handling and responsiveness in all weather conditions. The A8 also features four selectable driving modes -- Dynamic, Comfort, Individual and Automatic -- all of which help provide the driver with the best possible ride and handling.
The A8 has a luxurious interior that matches the best of both classic executive car cabins with some of the fine, custom-look details of bespoke ultra-luxury cars. Interior trim options include matte-brushed aluminum and a walnut natural wood with black inlays. 18-way power heated front seats can be wrapped in Nappa or Valetta leather. Other notable comfort and convenience features include 4-zone climate control, steering wheel shift paddles, power sunshades, soft-closing doors, LED exterior lighting and a rear-view camera.
Technology inside includes the Audi virtual cockpit, which is a 12.3-inch LCD instrument cluster with two viewing modes. Additionally the A8 features navigation with voice control, configurable touchscreen dual center displays, Bang & Olufsen 3D premium sound system with 17-speakers, HD radio, SiriusXM and smartphone connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
